The European Researchers’ Night

The European Researchers’ Night, funded by the Horizon Europe Program “Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions and Citizens”, is a Europe-wide public event. It displays the diversity of science and its impact on citizens’ daily lives in a fun, inspiring ways. Last year, the European Researchers’ Night took place in 48 places in Europe.

This year the European Researchers’ Night took place within STEM & Makers Fest/Expo at Hacettepe University Beytepe Tuncalp Ozgen Congress Center on September 27-28, 2024. The theme of this year’s activity was  “Imagine, Innovate, Impact (i3)”. Gülden Göksen, assist. Prof Gulden Goksen at Tarsus University and and a member of the SEAFOODTURE team, gave a presentation at the STEM Slam, a scientific talk where experts in the STEM field explain a science related topic to a general audience in 10 minutes. Her presentation titled “Sustainable and Eco-Friendly Packaging for a Good Planet!” included a introduction to SEAFOODTURE and its activities.
